2007 Major Rule Changes
(1) Announced changes to crosse dimensions,effective 2009.
(2) Clarified that head coach is designated to communicate with game officials.
(3) Added note to offside rule allowing for substitutions.
(4) Defined procedures to use when officials stop play due to a broken/dislodged piece of the goalkeeper's equipment.
(5) Timeouts will be granted to a team in possession of the ball and across the restraining line.
(6) Adjusting crosse strings or head is an automatic one-minute, non-releasable unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
(7) Reworded the stalling rule slightly for clarity.
(8) Approved ruling altered to allow officials to correct timing errors on game clock, if needed.
