First Friendswood Game A Success!

A crowd of over 100 people came for the inaugural game of the Friendswood Lacrosse Team. Friendswood is a first year team playing as a JV team this year. Steve Kirk, Friendswood Head Coach had this to report: "Originally billed as a scrimmage, we played Clear Lake JV2 last Thursday in game conditions. We scored first and were tied shortly thereafter. We then were able to build the lead to 4-1 only to have CL come back and tie 5-5 late in the 4th Qtr. Our X scored the winning goal with approx 4 mins left and we were able to hold on for a 6-5 win. The boy's were extremely excited and it was good to see their hard work in only three weeks of practice pay off. We know that each successive week will prove harder, but the team is relishing in the moment."
