YES College Prep and the THSLL South DII are working together to start a lacrosse program at YES’ Southwest campus. YES College Prep exists to increase the number of low-income Houstonians who graduate from a four-year college prepared to compete in the global marketplace and committed to improving disadvantaged communities.
90% of YES Prep students are first-generation college bound.
80% of YES Prep students are economically disadvantaged.
95% of YES Prep students are Hispanic or African American.
Most students enter YES Prep at least one grade level behind in Math and Reading. We are taking equipment donations for the school.
Equipment can be dropped off at the THSLL South DII Scheduling meeting which will be held on Monday, October 10 at Bellaire High School at 6:30 P.M.
