Zane Rankin Recognized as Academic All American
Posted on April 30, 2010
Zane Rankin, from LBJ/LASA was recognized as winner of one of four US Lacrosse Academic All-American Awards from Texas. Zane has played LBJ/LASA Boys Lacrosse for four years. He also earned Honorable Mention for midfielder in 2010 in the THSLL Central District Dll.

Zane is a Senior at the Liberal Arts And Science Academy (LASA) High School. He is a National Merit Finalist and is ranked in the top handful of his LASA Class of 2010. He was Head Drum Major of the 150-member LBJ Marching Band and is a member of the LASA Science Oympiad Team, which has won the Texas State Championship four years in a row and placed #8 in the National Competition last year.

Zane will be attending UC-Berkeley or University of Texas in the Honors Program after graduation. Congratulations to Zane on this hard earned award.
