The Woodlands Youth Lacrosse Club is Seeking Youth Boys Coaches
The Woodlands Youth Lacrosse Club is seeking dynamic coaches for its school grades 3/4 boys (2021 Houston D1 Champions), 5/6 boys (2021 Houston D1/D2 Champions) and 7/8 boys divisions for the upcoming spring season (January to May 2022). Come be a part of one of the strongest youth lacrosse programs in Texas, with teams that are always competitive in Houston, Austin, Dallas and beyond. Our program feeds into the Woodlands High School Lacrosse Club, always a State playoff contender and 2018 State Champions. We need your help to continue that winning tradition and to further strengthen our program.
We are seeking candidates with a passion for the game that are effective communicators who will lead, motivate, and develop players.
Qualifications:
Preferred college playing experience; coaches with high-school experience may be considered
- Coaching experience preferred
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the sport and instructing young players
- Ability to effectively motivate and develop both the novice and experienced player
Time commitment for our Spring 2022 Season is three (3) evening practices per week and Saturday games. Games are typically in the Houston metro area; however, we typically schedule trips to Austin and Dallas to expand competitive playing opportunities. Season runs from January to May.
Pay is considered very competitive for Texas youth coaches
