Southlake Carroll Varsity Assistant Coach

Southlake Carroll is a Division I High School program located just north of Dallas/Fort Worth in Texas. We are looking to contract a dedicated, passionate, and qualified Varsity Assistant Lacrosse Coach who will work closely with our Varsity Head Coach in all aspects of our program. This job will require roughly 30+ hours per week and the candidate will be reimbursed for their time at a very competitive rate; this is NOT a teaching position. The busiest time of year will be February through June. Also there will be some travel required.

Duties Include:
-On-field time (games and practices)
-Team/staff meetings
-Team travel
-Film breakdown
-Opponent scouting
-Practice planning
-Equipment management
-Field setup
-Marketing/Growing the Game

About our Program:

We have over 300 boys (10+ youth teams, 4+ middle school teams, and Varsity/JV high school teams) playing lacrosse in Southlake and are looking keep that number growing

We compete at the Division I level in the North Texas District against Highland Park, Dallas Jesuit, St. Markâ€™s, Episcopal School Dallas, Coppell, Plano West, Allen, and Plano

Southlake Carroll Independent School District is rated Exemplary (the highest possible honor in the state of Texas) and the high school boasts an incredible 100% graduation rate, 99% college placement rate, and 97% attendance rate!

Southlake Carroll has won over 45 state championships in sports since 1975 including 8 in football (tied for the most of any high school program in Texas)

2011-2012 Southlake Carroll won the Lone Star Cup for the top overall High School Athletics Department in the state of Texas
