Head Lacrosse Coach

St. Mark’s School of Texas, a day school for 852 boys in Dallas, Texas, seeks a Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach. The St. Mark’s program participates in the Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC), as well as the Texas High School Lacrosse League (http://www.thsll.org/rules.php).
The successful candidate will report to the Athletic Director in managing the entire lacrosse program, which currently includes a Varsity, Junior Varsity, and two Middle School teams.
The Head Coach will assist the Athletic Director with scheduling, hiring and evaluating coaches, duty assignments, and other responsibilities related to program supervision.
While all candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree, a strong candidate will have a minimum of two years coaching experience and some experience with boys and high-school aged lacrosse players. Finally, the successful candidate must be able to uphold the school’s mission statement and manage the program within all guidelines set forth by the School, the SPC, and the THSLL. Experience in an independent school is a plus but not a prerequisite.
